THE LANGUAGE OF THE HAND
A Beginner’s Palmistry Workshop with Danny Nemu
At Kensal Green Cemetery on Saturday the 10th October 2026 - 7 pm

The lines on our hands have long been thought to reveal something of our character, destiny and inner life. Far from being a relic of fortune telling, palmistry is a rich symbolic language, interpreting the shape, texture, movement and markings of the hand to offer insights into personality, relationships, strengths and life’s turning points. As Isaac Newton famously observed, “In the absence of any other proof, the thumb alone would convince me of God’s existence.”

In this lively and interactive workshop, palmist Danny Nemu will introduce the fascinating art of reading the hand. Discover how the hands can reveal the relationship between mind, body and emotion, learn the meanings behind the major lines and mounts, and gain practical techniques for interpreting both your own hands and those of others. Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply curious about one of humanity’s oldest divination traditions, you’ll leave with a new way of looking at the hands you hold every day.

Tickets £40 including a delightful Victorian punch and a 20% donation toward a host of restoration projects at Kensal Green Cemetery
